Church Softball TourneyThe Cross Plains Community Chamber helped make the first Fourth of July at Kilgore Park special by sponsoring a church softball tournament.  Congratulations to Mt. Carmel Baptist Church and their winning team. Thanks to all the churches who participated and to everyone who attended.  The day was capped with live music including the Ridgetop Ramblers, dinner provided by the City of Cross Plains, and fireworks from the Cross Plains Fire Department in memory of former fire chief Roy Hulsey. The chamber hopes to make the softball tournament and music an annual event.
